Culture theory: theoretical aspects of cultural studies – the following anthropologies: social, cultural, applied, etc.; theoretical foundations of cultural studies. American anthropology in the 20th century; memetics, the evolution of culture.

Semiotics: the Tartu-Moscow Semiotic School: J. Łotman, B. Uspienski et. al.; American semiotics: Ch. S. Peirce.

Formal Concept Analysis (FCA): its application in the cultural studies; using the FCA in the study of literature and in the theory of translation.
